HG: Ah, the gritty reboot. Weve had Batman, weve had Power Rangers, and now we have Little Red Riding Hood. Obvious parallels can be drawn between Woolfe - The Red Hood Diaries and American McGees Alice series. Sadly, although its heart is in the right place, Woolfe does not live up to those lofty gritty reboot expectations.

Over on his Facebook page, former Dead or Alive director Tomonobu Itagaki has shared some insight into the games characters and what their names were originally going to be, prior to the release of the final version of Dead or Alive 1. Itagaki posted the information in response to a fan asking about screenshots from the prototype build of Dead or Alive 1 on the Sega Model 2 arcade hardware. The screenshots showed off a character named Kelly (above), who wasnt included in the final game. In reply to the comment, Itagaki stated:

The PS4 and Xbox One Dead Or Alive 5 Last Round includes the soft engine and better effects than the PC counterpart although can't boast playing the game in 3D - a feature unique to the PC.

It arrived on the Vita the following March as DOA5 Plus, with inclusion of Touch Play and more Training options.
