Dead or Alive 5 Last Round Review | GameCloud Australia

Shane Smith at GameCloud Australia writes:
"Dead or Alive 5 Last Round is the ultimate package for any fan of the genre, and boasts one of the best fighting systems around today. The huge catalogue of characters, stages and alternative attires are also great for replay value; especially for multiplayer, which I found lacking in the latest Killer Instinct game. If you dismiss the goofy storylines and the objectionable female character designs; youd have a solid and well-balanced fighting game thats fun to button-mash and challenging to master. Its a worthy alternative from the Tekken, Killer Instinct and the Street Fighter series. If it is indeed the last game of the 5th iteration, then Dead or Alive 5 Last Round is an appropriate way to wrap it up."

CraveOnline: "Dead or Alive has forged its identity on the back of its improbably breasted cast of female characters. In the same way that Street Fighter is known for its tightly woven gameplay, Mortal Kombat for its excessive violence and Tekken for its raptors with boxing gloves and pandas, Dead or Alives thing is that its characters, particularly the women, are ludicrously proportioned in a way that would probably make fighting pretty difficult for them given the back problems theyd face."

Push Square: "As we wrote in our review, Helldivers is a great downloadable game. Taking the fight to aliens across a multitude of different planets, there's little more satisfying than taking chunks out of big beasties with a barrage of bullets. Sadly, not everyone can adapt to the life of a Helldiver so easily. Starting out can be tough, even with the title's well judged difficulty curve, so we've put together a handful of hopefully helpful hints and tips to support Super Earth's new recruits."

Jack Fleming writes "If Ive said it once Ive said it a thousand times, sometimes its really hard to be a video games fan. Take the Dead or Alive franchise for example, while a very entertaining and well balanced fighting game it also allows you to adjust the breast physics of the scantily clad female characters."
