10 Failings Which Ruined Bioshock Infinite: Burial At Sea

Added: 23.05.2014 16:14 | 5 views | 0 comments

Seen by many as a love letter to the fans, Bioshock Infinite: Burial At Sea served as a final tribute to the worlds of Rapture and Columbia. Along with a return of many characters, it offered the player an opportunity to witness events otherwise unseen in any previous titles. To see Rapture in a time when it was relatively stable, to speak with Atlas (or Fontaine if you prefer) when he was leading his revolution or to explore Fink Industries when it had been overrun by the Vox Populi. The issue is that, for all of this, you only needed to scratch the surface to see the many problems Burial At Sea caused. In the name of fan-service, this love letter managed to utterly wreck the stories of both worlds and cause no end of continuity issues and narrative failings. Nearly all of these served only to mix up the games messages and dilute what was once a very strong story.

Carl Williams writes, "Horror gaming fans know how sparse the offerings were in the early 1990s. There simply were not a lot of choices, though what was available was pretty good. One such title, many feel is the originator of the genre, Alone in the Dark, is now available on iOS (no word on the unofficial Dreamcast port that is in the works though)."

Child Of Light Xbox One Review - PlayDevil

Added: 19.05.2014 18:14 | 2 views | 0 comments

PlayDevil posted a in depth review of Ubisoft's Child Of Light for XO. More: "Along the way Aurora meets a myriad of strangers - emphasis on strange - that join her party and help her on my quest. My favourite among them, and the first you meet, is Rubella, a jester who can't seem to adhere to the formula. Whenever anyone sets her up for dialogue she fails to rhyme the obvious choices, and has to be corrected constantly."
