The third fastest-selling game of 2013, only bettered by Tomb Raider and BioShock Infinite.

The PS3 exclusive becomes the third-fastest selling game of the year, behind Tomb Raider and BioShock Infinite. The Last of Us is also the biggest launch for a new IP since LA Noire in 2011.

Nintendo's Animal Crossing: New Leaf also proved popular, charting at No.2 and becoming the biggest 3DS launch for a non-Mario title.

Grid 2 is forced down two places to No.3, Tomb Raider jumps three places to No.4, FIFA 14 takes fifth, and Injustice: Gods Among Us climbs back into the Top 10 to No.6.
