Marty from DC writes: Before you go getting all excited over this expansion Im going to knock down your expectations a peg or two. Dark Arisen commits nearly all the atrocities of its predecessor. Missions never venture away from the standard fetch quest, characters remain as monotonous as Entourages Vincent Chase and your pawns repetitive dialogue still encourages you to scalp their face and pour vinegar over the remaining flesh wound.

Overall, Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen delivers a fantastic experience as the original along with some good additional content. If you have not yet had the chance to experience this game, you will thank yourself by picking up Dark Arisen and playing through the entire adventure of Gransys and then explore the mysteries of Bitterblack Isle.
