Why Xbox One is Still a Tough Sell for Multi-Console Owners

VGChartz's Evan Norris: "Right now, Microsoft, in collaboration with select retailers, is offering a generous deal for prospective Xbox One owners - buy an Xbox One (with Halo: The Master Chief Collection or two Assassin's Creed games) and get a free retail game. Potential buyers can choose from a long list of games which includes Batman: Arkham Knight, Elder Scrolls Online, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Depending on which bundle you choose, that's as many as five games and a current-gen system for $400. Not bad at all.
Yet I'm unmoved. Despite this generous offer and despite Microsoft's strong showing at this year's E3, I'm reluctant to invest in the Xbox One ecosystem. Why? Well, there are several reasons. But the most important, by far, is what I already own."

| Batman: Arkham Knight's Dark Conclusion - An Analysis of The Dark Knight
Added: 25.06.2015 23:00 | 2 views | 0 comments
**Spoiler Warning: This post contains a key spoiler regarding Arkham City's ending and another one for Arkham Knight from the first quarter of the game that ties into that ending.**
Franchises typically include a dark middle chapter, but Rocksteady's Batman trilogy saves most of the doom and gloom for its finale. Batman: Arkham Knight begins with a strikingly detailed cremation and then quickly transitions to terror and murder as its central antagonist Scarecrow infects Gotham. On some level it's familiar territory for The Caped Crusader, but the numerous threats feel more sinister in Arkham Knight. It's as if Rocksteady took notes from film director Christopher Nolan and decided to double down on themes of death and regret. As I continue to play the game, that darkness stands out as one of its defining characteristics.

Vic B'Stard writes: "Ill be the first to admit that nothing pisses me off more, when I cant get a game to work on my PC, than reading someones self-righteous post on how the game runs fine on their machine. Especially if their PC spec is half that of my own.
As much as it irks me, as a seasoned PC gamer, I appreciate that my problems with a game are more likely to be down to my choice of components, or how I chose to configure them, than the games programmers.
So, at the risk of sounding like a hypocrite, please breathe deeply and stay calm as I offer you advice, if you are having trouble running Arkham Knight, that you probably dont want to hear."
