Few games and certainly no others in the super hero genus have allowed players to inhabit a character to the degree to which players become the Dark Knight in Rocksteady Studios Batman series.

Arkham Knight does a lot of things very well the main story is the best of Rocksteady's three, the game looks incredible and it truly lives up to that "be the Batman" tag line but it is all diluted by an array of scattershot ideas that only bloat the experience. The Batmobile is often crammed into the game where it doesn't belong and the repetition of those side missions becomes a chore.

The fact that the legend can be completely dismantled the way he is in Arkham Knight should and will scare the hell out of every one.

It's a superior game that plays brilliantly, and certainly stands in a league of its own in the Arkham line-up for the most part, but it simply doesn't leave your jaw agape like Arkham City seemed to manage with such ease and finesse.

Bit-tech: I enjoyed my time with Arkham Knight, despite Warner Bros' apparent best efforts to prevent that. It's a fitting conclusion to Rocksteady's Arkham trilogy, albeit one that's uneven in places. If you've got a PS4 or Xbox One, I'd certainly recommend donning the cowl one last time. As for the PC version, well, let's just hope the problems are resolvable, because the game Rocksteady have created is undoubtedly worth playing.

| Why Is 'Batman: Arkham Knight' So Violent?
Added: 06.07.2015 6:15 | 0 views | 0 comments
Forbes: Im not going to kill you, Batman says to a burglar in Tim Burtons 1989 movie, a remarkable thing to say to someone youre helding over the ledge of a roof. Like its predecessors, Batman: Arkham Knight overflows with violent scenarios pulled from this mold, encounters that seem impossible to imagine not being fatal but which never actually are. Its always clear Batman wants to kill, and the only thing preventing him from doing so is some private system of psychological restraint thats inaccessible to everyone other than Batman.
