Halo: Spartan Assault and Max: The Curse of Brotherhood free for a limited time.
The games mark the first free Xbox One titles available under Microsoft's Games with Gold program, which was first introduced on Xbox 360 at E3 last year.
The two games are only available to download for free for a limited time, after which they'll return to their usual price.
They'll presumably be replaced by additional titles, although Microsoft has yet to announce future titles included in the Xbox One lineup.
Xbox 360 Gold users, meanwhile, can download Dark Souls and will soon be able to download Charlie Murder and Super Street Fighter 4.
