Following its reveal in the latest issue of V Jump magazine, Bandai Namco has gone up with the official announcement for Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden, due out for 3DS in Japan this summer.
Developed by BlazBlue and Guilty Gear studio Arc System Works, the fighting action game will feature over 100 characters (though not all appear to be playable). In addition to one-on-one battles, the game will also have team battles in which several characters participate.
