Anyone who played Bastion and enjoyed it will likely have a great time with Transistor as well. The story-telling is fantastic, it's visually phenomenal, and the length is solid.

"For better or worse, Nintendo's stubbornly clung to the old ideas that made game consoles so distinctivetheir retro arcade roots. While this hasn't won them any gamer-points in a world where everybody expects their consoles to have similar libraries and behaviors to modern PCs, what it has won them is the best traditional console-focused games on any platform this generation. It's also led to some of the most lovingly-crafted games in the company's entire history."

PSX:
In case anyone is wondering, no, I didnt play Bastion when it first released in 2011. Hence, please save your, I knew this game was awesome four years ago; where the hell have you been? comments. Now that Supergiants fantastic action/RPG is available on PS4, I finally gave it a try and I came away suitably impressed. Excellently paced, wonderfully presented, and always charming, Bastion is a game that enraptures. When I sit down to play, I do so with a smile on my face. The modern gamer is blessed with having such a vast, diverse array of interactive experiences, and this is a perfect example of a game that simply pulls you in and keeps you involved.
