Lets state one fact clearly from the start: for all its virtues, Shadow of the Beast did not play especially well. Its often half-baked platform action appeared promising at first, but was let down ultimately by having no game-save positions, a frustratingly high difficulty level and a general lack of fair and progressive gameplay. Yet Shadow of the Beast still rates as one of the Amigas most important titles, principally because it must have sold thousands of Commodores dearly loved machines all by itself.

Beach Buggy Racing is the latest racer from US indie developer Vector Unit. Like their last Xbox One offering, Riptide GP 2, Beach Buggy Racing also started life as a mobile game and in the same way that Riptide owed a huge debt to the Nintendo classic Wave Race 64, Beach Buggy Racing owes a debt to Mario Kart. Gameplay is king here and with such satisfying controls and excellent split-screen racing its easy to forgive some of the games flaws.

In fact, it has the potential to change the way familys deal with hearing loss when it comes to one or more members requiring the volume on the TV, or stereo, to be cranked up to ear drum bursting levels just to hear sound. With that being said the HyperSound Clear also has great potential in homes where one must be quiet while gaming, but also doesnt want to have to wear a headset for extended periods of time.
