E3 2015 is in the books, and this year we at 4LOG are gonna try something new. We will start out with what we have been playing like always. Cory got his hands on the Elder Scrolls Online, and Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition, Basher tried to play Batman Arkham Knight on PC but got stuck in Witcher 3 instead. This year each 4LOG member wrote down their top 5 things they wanted to talk about from E3 2015. How did Doom and Fallout 4 show at the Bethesda conference? Was their conference possibly the best in E3 History? Will Ubisoftt be successful with the Division? What is the Division actually about? Most of the 4LOG crew feels like Nintendo bombed it hard at E3 2015. Are they prepping for the NX? Was the Shenmue 3 Kickstarter reveal a good or bad thing? Was Xbox One Backwards compatibility the biggest surprise of the show? When the heck is Kingdom Hearts 3 releasing!?

Since Bethesda released their epic open-world role playing game in 2011, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has generally been considered the gold standard in western RPGs. It is arguably the yardstick by which all games of a similar genre are measured against, and with good reason. Skyrim is one of the most critically acclaimed and best-selling RPGs of all time and is still one of the most widely played games now according to Steam statistics. In fact, it was the first game that we ever gave a five star review score to. However, theres a new kid on the block. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt released to impressive reviews and equally impressive sales figures, shifting 4 million copies in two weeks. Now the game has been out for over a month and the post-release hype has somewhat died down, its a good time to take a deep breath and attempt to calmly answer the question that has fervently been asked so many times this month: is The Witcher 3 actually better than Skyrim?
