A Criticism of The Coherence Of Bioshock Infinite's Post Credit Sequence And Ending In General

My criticism of Bioshock Infinite's post credit sequence and its ending in general. I will clarify that I loved this game's story and game as a whole, but I have several problems with the very end of the game and whether or not it makes any sense, and how this problem is solved.

PR writes: Bioshock Infinite is a game I would only recommend to those who have played the first Bioshock. It is necessary to become intimately familiar with the overarching similarities and themes in the original to truly appreciate this entry. A man dropped into a city of which he has no knowledge to bring down the ruling tyrant is only a taste of the connections between the two titles. Infinite is an experience that will stick with you. The game is new and inventive from both a story and gameplay perspective. It is respectful of its roots and will bring lovers of the first Bioshock back into its unique form of storytelling. Infinite is a social satire that examines redemption, religion, and patriotism in a world that can take any presupposition of good and truth and warp it into a corrupted beast. The ending of Infinite will leave your jaw agape and your head thoroughly scratched but if you love a story that is complete with a fitting ending, Infinite is the game for you. The...

Bioshock Infinite: Easter Egg Guide (Spoilers)

Everyone loves the big games that put a lot of money into making it as pretty as possible. Whether it be with cool weapons, epic environments, polished npcs e.c.t. But what I love about the really intelligent games is when they hide the small, interesting details. In gamer terms these are called Easter eggs, namely because you have to find them. They normally explain some lore friendly story, pay tribute to other games or are simply the designers messing about. Bioshock infinite has plenty to find. Ive done my research and Ive found a bunch for you to look out for on your way through Columbia.

Motherboards- Bioshock:Infinite[PC] Review

MB:Bioshock Infinite is one of the best games that I have ever played, and possibly one of the best games that has ever been created. If you don't play Bioshock Infinite I have no doubt that somewhere down the road you will regret it. Ken Levine and the staff at Irrational Games have crafted a masterpiece, a spectacular blend of narrative, art work, music and game play. If you're only going to pick one game up this year, make sure it's this one. And for heaven's sake, play it on a decent PC.

Bioshock Infinite Review | GameCritics

GameCritics: "Fuzzy-headed narrative and thematically irrelevant auxiliary mechanics make Infinite feel sloppy even when it's working. Combat increases in frequency and decreases in impact after the Hall of Heroes, so for most of its length the game sinks towards a deflated ending rather than rising towards a climax. However, that slow descent starts from a great height, so there is still much to value in Infinite even as it drowns in its own shortcomings."
