Army of Two: The Devils Cartel Review | Analog Addiction

Added: 02.04.2013 16:21 | 0 views | 0 comments

Analog Addiction writes: "Released on the same day as the Juggernaut title Bioshock Infinite, it was easy to forget that Army of Two: The Devils Cartel came out. However, for those of you who enjoy playing local co-op games in this time of online-only co-op, the Army of Two franchise has likely become something youve kept an eye on. The first two games in the series have had a heavy emphasis on tactical teamwork to stay alive and progress, but does the third entry keep those aspects alive?"

Kumas Review of Bioshock Infinite Spoiler Free [KKEnt]

Added: 02.04.2013 13:18 | 4 views | 0 comments

Kuma Wrote: There are those who are willing to go above and beyond to settle their debts and then there are others that have no choice in the matter. However deep down everyone is looking for some form of salvation to handle their inner demons of past transgressions. This is the story of Booker DeWitt, who is a man down on his luck seeking a way out even if he has to go to the heavens to fight many that claim to be prophets, but reveal to be demons instead. This is Bioshock Infinite which is out now for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Is your faith that strong to bring freedom to your soul?

Bioshock Infinite will have you sympathizing with the characters, hanging on the edge of your seat, developing attachments you dont ever want to break; it will leave you begging for more. Review: Bioshock Infinite (This Is My Joystick)

Added: 02.04.2013 12:18 | 14 views | 0 comments

BioShock Infinite takes the unorthodox step of being entirely unconnected with its predecessors, and is instantly better for it. A fresh experience from the off, it tells the tale of ex-Pinkerton agent Booker DeWitt, knee-deep in debt and forced to travel to the floating city-state of Columbia to collect an unknown girl. By immediately giving you a shady objective, Irrational set Booker as a man who will save his own arse despite any moral obligations, and that makes him instantly teresting than your average hero. Columbia is a well-known independent state ran by the apparently prophetic Father Zachary Comstock, with a troubled past involving the Boxer Rebellions and an emancipation from the United States. Dumped at a lighthouse that will be familiar to BioShock veterans (although Ken Levine assures us its not that lighthouse), Booker quickly enters Columbia and this is where the story really kicks off.

Bioshock Infinite is a difficult title to review, not because of some staggering number of issues, but for all of the things it gets right.

My most anticipated release this week comes by way of The Behemoth. Castle Crashers, Alien Hominid... how can you go wrong with Battleblock Theater? We'll have our review up soon. We've also got extended coverage of Defiance this week, but let's get to the list:
Defiance (Xbox 360, PS3, PC) - April 2nd, 2013 Cities in Motion 2 (PC) - April 2nd, 2013 Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge (PS3) - April 2nd, 2013 Double Dragon II: Wander of the Dragons (Xbox 360) - April 5th, 2013 BattleBlock Theater (Xbox 360) - April 3rd, 2013 Evoland (PC) - April 4th, 2013 Super Black Bass 3D (3DS) - April 2nd, 2013 Capcom Arcade Cabinet: Game Pack 4 (Xbox 360, PS3) - April 3rd, 2013 Please, just give the demo version of BattleBlock Theater a download so you can try the game for yourself. I've never had more fun with a 2D platformer. Way back at PAX Prime 2011, I had fun killing PlayStation LifeStyle Editor Cameron Teague over and over and over again. It's the kind of good fun you can have that provides plenty of giggles, but also destroys friendships at the same time. What are you picking up this week? Is your wallet recovering from last week's Bioshock Infinite?

Bioshock Infinite Review | SnackBarGames

SnackBarGames: "BioShock Infinite is a rare game that dares to challenge its audience with important (and controversial) themes that enhance the science fiction-fueled story in a genius, non-intrusive way. Its a sequel that takes everything that works about the previous entries and molds them into something that feels distinct without compromising what made it so memorable in the first place. Its a fast-paced thrill ride with plenty of exciting combat sequences and a handful of polished, well-executed mechanics and memorable story sequences. If there is any one title that will define this console generation, BioShock Infinite might just be that game."
