Simon O'Neill of VGamerz reviews the much anticipated finale to the impressive Infinite franchise.
does Episode 2 hit a home run or, does it strike out?
Otaku Dome:
The epic FPS trilogy from Irrational Games, Bioshock comes to an end with the Bioshock Infinite: Burial at Sea saga. Acting as not only a prequel to the first two Bioshock games, but an closing sequel to Bioshock Infinite and the overall story of Irrationals Bioshock franchise.
Polygon:
"Burial At Sea's second episode is lovely to look at and sports some surprisingly enjoyable sneaky combat, but both are used to tell a story that, without flowcharts and some seriously generous apologetics, is convoluted to migraine-inducing degrees."
Ken Levines innovative studio Irrational is going to be sorely missed by gamers and nothing drives that point home better than a swan song like we have here for Bioshock Infinite. Captivating, beautiful and thoroughly enjoyable Burial at Sea Ep 2 wraps up the Bioshock Infinite story quite nicely.
