Puzzle-platformer Clockwork revealed for Xbox One

Added: 23.02.2015 9:49 | 58 views | 0 comments

Get your cogs in gear, it's puzzle time.
Steampunk is the new black. There's something really appealing about the mix of Victorian gentlemen, clockwork, brass and fantastic moustaches that keeps game designers coming back. The Order 1886, Dishonored, Thief, Myst, Bioshock Infinite, Pathologic, Steamworld Dig - all set in various incarnations of that lovely steampunk world. Is it a sign of the times? Yes, definitely. We all wish that we were gloriously moustachioed robots. Who doesn't?

Evolve Starts Life At No1 - UK Charts

Added: 16.02.2015 11:14 | 29 views | 0 comments

Chart Track: Xbox One just edges the format share by a mere 1% with fewer than 400 sales between the two Gen 8 versions, while PC accounts for just 3% of boxed units. For Take 2 its their first chart topping title thats not part of the Grand Theft Auto franchise since Bioshock Infinite back in March 2013. With the release of new Nintendo 3DS 3DS XL consoles giving a 57% boost to hardware this week, its no surprise that two new 3DS titles debut in the Top 5. The Legend of Zelda: Majoras Mask 3D lands at No2 and is the biggest selling single format title of the week. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare (+14%) is forced down to third place despite promotions driving strong sales. The second monster hunting title in the chart this week is the aptly named Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, which makes its mark at No4. The titles week 1 sales are an impressive 95% up on predecessor Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate as the series starts to gain real traction in the West. Grand Theft Auto V...

Bioshock Infinite Season Pass only £3.31 / $4.99 on PC/Mac

Added: 31.01.2015 15:10 | 36 views | 0 comments

Dealspwn writes: Bioshock Infinite's season pass is an essential purchase for series fans and the £3.31/$4.99 price-tag is one of the best prices we've seen. Yes, this is on a Mac store, but the download is PC Steam compatible. The season pass includes the excellent Burial at Sea episodes that sees you playing as Elizabeth in the infamous underwater city of Rapture. For series fans, it's just pure gold. Be sure to read my review of Episode 2. The pass also includes the arena DLC and a few in-game bonuses for the main game. The main draw though is this unique trip to Rapture in it's prime before the splicers ripped it apart. Chilling and beautiful in equal measure.

3DS More Than Doubles 2nd Place Vita; Japans Hardware/Software Sales Continue Expected Slump

PSLS Sales Analysis: Things aren't quite as grim as the slope would indicate. "The weeks right after New Years see very few (if any) new releases and come with predictable drops in game hardware and software sales. It generally opens with a bang, then takes a giant drop. This year, not a single new game was released in Japan until the 15th of January, when PS3 got the Bioshock Infinite Complete Edition, 3DS got Kenka Bancho 6, and Vita got a new Diabolik Lovers adventure. On the 20th, PS4 got the Resident Evil Re-REmake, but that games data wont be on these charts."
