We saw this with Sofia Lamb and Andrew Ryan, the Great Chain and The Family and even the basic settings themselves in the first games. This was only taken further in Infinite with a new spin on the class war aspects of the original game which were only briefly covered, often with more emphasis placed upon the plasmids. Unlike Fontaine, Fitzroy believed whole heartedly in her cause and even...

| Dissecting the narrative of BioShock Infinite

Casually Addicted's Justin Levenstein takes an in-depth look at BioShock Infinite's riveting narrative.
"Having just recently finished Bioshock Infinite for a third time, I think it goes without saying that Im a big fan of this game. A game hasnt resonated with me this much in quite some time, so I felt compelled to write about it. After coming to understand most of Bioshock Infinites mind-bending conclusion, I found myself struggling to wrap my mind around the meaning of what I now consider to be the most profound piece of dialogue in the entire game, delivered by Elizabeth (or as we soon discover, Anna): Theres always a lighthouse, theres always a man, theres always a city. As I began to search for meaning behind these words, I came to the conclusion that their significance encapsulated much more than the Columbia, the city in the sky, and Rapture, the dystopian empire under the sea."
