Who Is The Better Character? Ellie (The Last of Us) or Elizabeth (Bioshock Infinite)?

Added: 19.06.2013 4:17 | 8 views | 0 comments

Omnigamer writes "There is only one real comparison you can draw from both The Last of Us and Bioshock Infinite and that is the two main characters. In The Last of Us you have Joel and Ellie and in Bioshock Infinite you have Booker and Elizabeth. There is no real comparison you can do between Joel and Booker, a large part being you never even see Booker (although both characters are voiced by Troy Baker). However, Elizabeth and Ellie are two characters you can compare, because you always see them and they are important to the plot of the games that they are in."

The Last of Us Review (MasonicGamer)

Added: 15.06.2013 13:17 | 4 views | 0 comments

MasonicGamer.com: Im not here to turn this review into some of kind versus article but The Last of Us has managed to succeed in an area that Bioshock Infinite could only ever dream of. The relationship between Joel and Ellie will no doubt be a landmark moment in gaming whereas Elizabeth will be an example of how NOT to do it. Ellie isnt your free get out of jail character, shes not a walking ammo/health box. Having little Ellie throw a measly brick at someone just to help me out is a much more meaningful and powerful display of character than whatever gun turrets Elizabeth feels like bringing in for another dimension.

Twinfinite writes: "This week everybody left myself and Justin alone, so we ran the show solo or duolo? That isnt a word. Justin finally plays Bioshock Infinite, I talk about Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, and we learn all about Justins nightmare of a weekend. Despite the small cast, its a great listen. Hope you enjoy it, and you better enjoy the coming week!"

The Last of Us Review | Dealspwn

Dealspwn: "The game left me feeling cold at the end, and wanting a hug, and despairing for humanity. But it didn't make me necessarily think or feel or wonder in the way The Walking Dead or Bioshock Infinite or any Fallout game did. Of course, it's not about you or I; it's about Joel and Ellie, and their story is masterfully constructed. "It's a ripping yarn, and that's the main thing, isn't it."

Is The Last Of Us the most beautiful game of this console generation?

Added: 05.06.2013 12:17 | 0 views | 0 comments

We've truly been spoiled when it comes to game graphics this console generation. From the rolling tundras of Skyrim to the open plains of Red Dead Redemption, from Uncharted's lush jungles to the city-in-the-sky of Bioshock Infinite, we've been taken to some truly incredible places. We may, however, be on the verge of seeing the release of a game that tops them all. The post-apocalyptic world of The Last Of Us is as beautiful as it is brutal and harrowing, with some of most incredible environments, facial animations and set pieces we've ever played through. The world of The Last Of Us may be in tatters, but your eyes will be in heaven, taking in all the detail crammed into this sumptuous world.
