Top Three Single Player Games of April

Added: 04.05.2013 22:18 | 2 views | 0 comments

OnlySP: ts been a busy couple of months for games, to say the least. With the release of numerous solid triple A titles like Tomb Raider and Bioshock Infinite, it seems no amount of unrelenting hate against EA and the ever so pointless no, YOU deal with it arguments surrounding gender inequality in video games can halt the industry from still producing brilliant experiences that simpletons like you and I can enjoy. And that trend doesnt appear to be slowing down one bit. Alongside the incredibly large explosion known as indie titles currently dominating the charts of Steam (you know, the Messiah of digital distribution), there just hasnt been a better time to be a gamer. When the quality of such independent titles rival even the largest of behemoths that publishers pump millions of dollars into, you know Im not lying. Well, maybe a little.

KS Fantasy Draft- Most Anticipated Summer Title

Added: 03.05.2013 20:20 | 0 views | 0 comments

Ryan Taylor writes "The summer is upon us, ladies and gentlemen! College students are just getting out of classes, everyone else has a few weeks left and the only thing I can bring myself to think about (besides the imminent job interviews and such) is what games are coming out this summer! The past few months have been pretty slim pickings when it came to games, with the best titles being Bioshock Infinite and Tomb Raider. Now that we are past that, the summer is looking pretty hot for titles. Ive asked a couple of Kaboom Shark writers to tell me their most anticipated titles, and heres what we came up with. Its the Kaboom Shark fantasy draft!"

Columbia vs. Rapture

The Bioshock Infinite hype is moving from boil to a steady simmer, and everybody is slowly moving on to the next thing to be outraged about/for. All in all, its been a pretty polarising game, some have been singing its praises and whether it is loved of loathed, Infinite had a high measuring bar to stand itself against in the form of the first Bioshock which has a good shout for being one of the best games of its console generation. Without question, one of the best things about the game in the Bioshock series is the worlds they create and then plop the player into, crafting an engaging and compelling world that pulls the player deeper and deeper in.
