Ubisoft have released a new video about the future of Ubisoft Toronto, who are celebrating their fifth anniversary this year. They released Splinter Cell: Blacklist in 2013, and contributed to other games, such as Far Cry 4 and Assassin's Creed: Unity. The video includes an interview with Ubisoft Toronto's Managing Director Alex Parizeau, who recently took over form Jade Raymond, when she left the studio to "pursue new opportunities", and he says that the developer is gearing up to take on new projects, but to do so, they need to hire a few new recruits. He also discusses the birth and growth of the studio as well as the plans for a massive expansion, as part of their plan with the Canadian government is to reach 800 staff members by 2015. Dealspwn writes: Splinter Cell: Blacklist is £5.50 for a new copy. It's one of the best games in the series and it's nearly a tenner more at all other sites. Why are you still here! Really, you need more convincing? There's an excellent range of gameplay styles to choose from. Trying to be as sneaky as possible is an incredibly intense experience compared to just run-and-gunning it (but you can do that too). The multiplayer is feature packed too with Spies Vs Mercs making a return along with some cool co-op missions. One of the best games of last year has never been this cheap. I'd hurry, stock is listed as low already.

After 10 solid years, Ubisoft Toronto's Jade Raymond has announced she is leaving the company.

For those who don't know, Raymond was responsible for spearheading the first Assassin's Creed and served as executive producer on the acclaimed sequel. She also oversaw the production of Splinter Cell Blacklist and the more recently released Watch Dogs.
