Game Informer - When I heard Booker DeWitt would always have the lovely and energetic Elizabeth at his side during BioShock Infinite, I was worried. Not because I didn't find Elizabeth magnetic (I did), but whenever you are tasked with escorting a character through danger, that companion can become a burden.

One of the most anticipated games that was scheduled for release this year was "BioShock Infinite," and it was coming from the publisher 2K and developing studio Irrational Games, along with a whole lot of expectations.
Today, the verdict has been delivered on the "cloud-based," first-person shooter starring "independent contractor" Booker DeWitt.
There are a fair amount of games that have a hard time meeting the expectations consumers place on an upcoming game, but "BioShock Infinite" takes those standards, and blows them away.

Bring us the girl, wipe away the debt. These few words are the catalyst that set the grand scheme of BioShock Infinite in motion, forcing protagonist Booker DeWitt to travel to the industrious floating city known as Columbia in search of a young woman named Elizabeth. Elizabeth is a wonderfully written character whose interaction with protagonist Booker DeWitt forms the core of BioShock Infinites tale and is all the better for it. Shes easy to care about and hard to forget. As far as A.I. partners in games go, Elizabeth is probably the best.
But the developers cheated to achieve that.
