Rhys, Fiona and the ever-changing gang at their backs ended episode three with some issues to sort out. Inside the Pandora adventure, villainess Vallory had the upper hand with the only certainty being that the gang was heading to Hyperion to complete their Vault adventure. Escape Plan Bravo begins directly after that last fire fight, pushing the cast of characters to the stars after a lengthy introductory sequence. What follows feels like an improvement technologically over Catch-A-Ride while seeming to want to give the player plenty of emotional attachments for the last episode.

"Telltale is wrapping up their initial journey into Gearboxs Borderlands franchise, and with only one episode left, the stakes are higher than ever in the fourth episode. Tales from the Borderlands Episode Four: Escape Plan Bravo may disappoint some players with its lack of in-depth story and character development. However, the episode makes up for any faults with the constant character banter and some truly emotional moments.

WGTC: When last we left the ragtag heroes of Tales From The Borderlands, things were looking somewhat bleak. An Empire Strikes Back-esque ending saw the gang outnumbered and outgunned by the vicious Vallory, and any hopes of an escape seemed unlikely or foolhardy. Now, as the action picks back up right where players last left off, it seems escape was even more than unlikely. Dragged into an unwilling lets say alliance with Vallory, Rhys and Fiona have to come up with a plan to lead their friends back toward Helios, where they will have to retrieve the final Gortys piece for the Queenpin.
