If you grew up playing any installment of the storied Mega Man franchise, the name Keiji Inafune should carry some weight. Inafune's one of the masterminds behind the beloved metallic man in blue we first met in the NES era. And with his new game, Mighty No. 9, a spiritual successor to his Capcom legacy, he famously kicked off a new wave of Japanese developers who've struck out on their own with the help of crowdfunding.

Rely on Horror, K. Campbell writes: "Capcom was was kind enough to let me go hands on with the PS4 vision of the game at E3 2015. It was really slick, and it was quite apparent they have put in even more work into this remaster than they did with REmake. Check out the video below to watch me play through the opening (20 minutes) of the game!"

| Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster Takes You Back to the Series' Origins | VGChartz Preview

VGChartz's Jake Weston: "There are still certain trepidations I have toward the remaster, though they certainly can't be helped. For one, I'm disappointed that the game's cutscenes appear to still be in the original low resolution. Not a big deal, I understand that; what I don't understand is the need to crop the original fullscreen-rendered cutscenes to fit into widescreen. Even when selecting the option for them to be played in the original 4:3 aspect ratio, cut scenes are still cropped for widescreen, removing a big chunk of the original image. I also could take or leave Billy's voice acting (although the way he says "Staaaaaaaars" is hilarious).
With this re-release, Capcom is one step closer to bringing every Resident Evil game to HD platforms (Resident Evil 2 and 3: Nemesis remakes - get on it Capcom!), as well as re-introducing players to one of the most interesting games in the series."

Rely on Horror, J. Bocanegra writes: "Capcom has streamed their E3 demo for Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster. The demo takes us on a trip back through the Ecliptic Express. Its worth noting that Capcom might be doing some considerable work on the CG cutscenes, too, seeing as how the intro cinematic wasnt present here."
