Added: 08.05.2015 20:59 | 3 views | 0 comments

Koji Igarashi's long-running involvement with the series where various game developers share their thoughts while playing games they either love and/or worked on, Igarashi--also known as IGA--sat down for some time with SotN. He's joined by Double Fine senior gameplay programmer Anna Kipnis, who describes SotN as her favorite game of all-time. The two take turns playing while Igarashi offers various thoughts over the course of two-plus hours.

Igarashi went on to contribute to more than a dozen other Castlevania games. He's currently working for Japanese company ArtPlay, which he says is trying to "create new experiences for mobile and consumer devices."

Dark Souls: It's like an NES Game

Added: 07.05.2015 13:17 | 10 views | 0 comments

Gamasutra: This is something that gets thrown around a lot regarding Dark Souls. I never paid much attention to it - it's just something people say. Added: 04.05.2015 13:17 | 8 views | 0 comments

NLife: Long-time Castlevania producer Koji "IGA" Igarashi left Konami a while back to move into indie development, but aside from a cryptic double-page PAX flyer, we've heard very little about what he's up to. However, this week could change all of that, if rumours swirling around the dark and brooding nether-regions of the internet are to be believed. According to some sources, the runes in the PAX flyer actually contained a message "What a wonderful night to have a KS" which appeared to suggest that Igarashi would be launching a Kickstarter campaign in the not-too-distant future.

Bloodborne is the Castlevania Game We Deserve

Added: 29.04.2015 5:05 | 28 views | 0 comments

I know that may sound odd, but after playing through Mergo's Loft and especially Cainhurst Castle (which itself is an obvious nod to Castlevania), the Castlevania-ness of the game really started to scream out at me. Upon this realization, I [...] Via Bloodborne is the Castlevania Game We Deserve
