Ubisoft Montreal originally pitched Splinter Cell as a James Bond game, the studio has revealed.

Speaking to IGN, an ex-Ubisoft developer confirmed that after its action game, The Drift, was threatened of being canceled, the dev studio "made an attempt to impress the [007] license holder" with a Bond-centric spy game.

Its true that retail games in India are cheap when compared to the rest of the world. But that doesnt change the fact that they come in embarrassingly cheap and shoddy packaging. To make matters worse, PC games did come in international standard packaging a few years back, but it seems the distributors are heading south with the quality since.
