Gabe Gurwin of Tech Heads writes: "With Splinter Cell Blacklist, new studio Ubisoft Toronto sought to have its cake and eat it, too. The game was showcased in trailers and conventions as being open to a diverse range of players, with specific play-styles built both for old-school fans and Conviction players. Every step of the way, it seems that the games development has been met with skepticism, but perhaps against the odds, the team has crafted the most impressive Splinter Cell to date."

Of course I was assigned as a heavy duty Merc with a partner, oh I was playing the Classic Spies vs Mercs mode that is brought back into Splinter Cell: Blacklist from its precursor Conviction. I accidentally pressed my Up Arrow key in the PS3 controller and the glowing torch light shut off by its own, leaving me alone in the darkness, as my partner had nearly vanished inside the level. I was scared. Simply because my previous experiences with Splinter Cell: Spies vs Mercs werent that good, as every now and then Id get stabbed from right, left and up...
