Destiny Beta Impressions; Better Than Halo? | PlayStationing

Added: 08.08.2014 3:26 | 1 views | 0 comments

Ben @ PlayStationing writes: "Countless gamers around the world are eagerly awaiting the arrival of Destiny, the new incredibly ambitious title by Bungie of Halo fame. Not only is Destiny the first time Bungie are releasing a game on the PlayStation platform, it is the first time the company has been free to work on a new franchise since the release of Halo: Combat Evolved in 2001, and it is clear that they intend to make the most of this opportunity. Bungie is trying a lot of new things with Destiny, and though much of what they are implementing into their new game is similar to what we have seen in other genres, rarely if ever have we seen it done so well. I have had the pleasure of spending the majority of my time since the launch of the beta on the 17th exploring the world Bungie has built and getting to experience a small sample of what is in store for us when the game final releases this September."

Modern Combat 5: Blackout Review | GodisaGeek

Added: 06.08.2014 15:13 | 4 views | 0 comments

Robin Parker: "Modern Combat 5: Blackout works best when it is allowed to be an on-rails shooter providing a highly polished, action-packed campaign thats easy to dip in and out of. The multiplayer mode does feel tacked-on, though, and slightly disconnected from the rest of the game. A few more stages of the main campaign would have been preferable over a multiplayer mode that doesnt fully deliver. Blackout is as linear as first-person shooters get, and the control method is poor to say the least, but as a casual title it provides surprisingly epic shooting action."

Halo: The Master Chief Collection PC Edition Appears on Amazon UK

Added: 05.08.2014 18:13 | 18 views | 0 comments

The leaks and rumors surrounding a possible PC release of Halo: The Master Chief Collection continue to pile up. Recently a listing for the game appeared on Amazon.es, the Spanish version of the popular online retailer. Also, entries have been found within the Steam database for Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, and Halo 3. Today a new listing has popped up on Amazon.co.uk. The listing is currently still available, but expect it to be removed soon. The title is listed separately from the main Halo: The Master Chief Collection page, and currently only allows users to sign up to be notified if/when it becomes available. Admittedly, this listing alone is highly doubtful evidence, but given the past leaks it becomes more significant. It is still another piece of mounting evidence that Microsoft might be releasing the highly anticipated compilation for PC.
