Added: 20.10.2014 1:12 | 0 views | 0 comments
Sonys Xperia Z2 phone, Z2 Tablet, Z3, Z3 Compact and Z3 Tablet Compact are all expected to all offer Remote Play connectivity for the PlayStation 4.
The Sony line of mobile and tablet devices, the Z2 and Z3 series, are going to offer video game-streaming/Remote Play for the PlayStation 4, Gizmodo reports. Sony already announced last month that the Z3 series would be able to offer Remote Play for the PS4, but the last generation of Xperia Z2 phones and Z2 tablets will be getting this function as well. PS4 Remote Play is expected to be a part of the Z2s Android 4.4.4 update, which is expected to launch sometime within the next month. Since the Z2 series is only 6 months old and not much different from the Z3, we really hope the Z2 series gets Remote Play it would save money on buying a Vita.

But thinking about the real-time strategy (RTS) genre, it quickly becomes apparently that the kind of improvements VR could bring apply to almost every title. The changes wed like to see the Oculus Rift VR head-mounted display (HMD) make to the likes of Command and Conquer, Total War, Company of Heroes and many, many more are virtually the same. With that in mind, this weeks piece will look at the genre as a whole.
