Back in June of this year SEGA revealed that The Creative Assembly had developed a virtual reality (VR) experience within their then-anticipated Alien: Isolation. A playable version was debuted at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), LA, that week and then little was said about the project. The videogames launch came-and-went without so much of a whisper, but today Oculus VR has revealed that the VR edition of the videogame has made its public debut at PAX Australia.

The interior environments look so incredibly curated and full of detail; thats amazing to see. Whats the process of building up an average room? Not necessarily a big showpiece such as Westminster Abbey with its ceiling, but just your average room in The Order: 1886.

David Lins writes: "When I sat down to play Creative Assemblys Alien: Isolation, I was filled with cautious optimism. Promotional material for the game showed, for the first time, a game based on Alien instead of one based on its sequels. Its a horror game, through and through. No pulse rifles, no wisecracking marinesjust a single engineer pitted against a single, terrifying threat."

| Alien: Isolation - Inside Segas Corporate Lockdown DLC
Added: 29.10.2014 23:12 | 0 views | 0 comments
Christopher Buffa (Prima Games): Sega and Creative Assembly released the first piece of predictably terrifying downloadable content for Alien: Isolation. Corporate Lockdown casts you as a Seegson company man named Ransome, who attempts to sabotage his former colleagues on Sevastopol Station while making off with precious data from the Nostromo flight recorder. He assumes, perhaps stupidly, that theres a place for him aboard Amanda Ripleys ship, the Torrens.
Considering Corporate Lockdown takes place within the Alien universe, the odds of Ransome being able to mosey down the seemingly abandoned hallways to safely arrive at the Torrens are pathetically low. The DLC comes with three maps for Survivor Mode, each of which present unique objectives, enemies and generally horrible situations that would make any normal person empty their bowels in terror.
