Alien: Isolation Review | Saving Content

Added: 17.10.2014 19:17 | 0 views | 0 comments

Excerpt: "Alien: Isolation challenges you to be careful, methodical, and cognizant of your surroundings. The alien is party pooper, eating your time and patience, forcing you to replay long sections between saves. Each failure was an opportunity to do better. And I became a better player for it. The games length is admirable, but too much. You grasp at the ending several times, but often it is snatched away. How long you endure your time with the game depends on the amount your heart can take during each play session. Creative Assemblys vision of the Alien universe makes Alien: Isolation is a great representation of a videogame mimicking and capturing a films tension and atmosphere in quite a long time."

ZTGD | Alien: Isolation Review

Ken McKown writes: Alien Isolation is a fantastic 6-8 hour game. The tension is unparalleled, the atmosphere is perfect and it simply looks amazing. For 6-8 hours there has never been a better experience, or feeling of being hunted. Now, if only the game was actually 6-8 hours it might be nearly flawless, but Isolation lasts much, much longer than that. I have no problems with lengthy games, but Creative Assemblys latest pushes the limits and wears out its welcome long before the credits roll. There are also a host of cool ideas that never get fleshed out the way they deserve to.

Far Cry 4 To Feature Weapons Old New, Pagan Min Creation Process Very Different From Vaas

Added: 16.10.2014 3:12 | 1 views | 0 comments

Far Cry 3 had one of the best video-game villains of all time - Vaas. The insane antagonist and his quirky mannerisms, all aided by a fantastic performance by Michael Mando, really made Far Cry 3 one of 2012's standout releases. Ubisoft are looking to replicate that same result with yet another seemingly crazy bad-guy - Pagan Min. The character's reveal certainly made sure that players would remember him, how couldn't you? The flamboyant narcissistic dictator just attracts the eye with his bright purple outfit contrasting with the bleached blonde hair. Make no mistake though, Ubisoft didn't just copy the winning formula that made Vaas such a fearsome foe.

5 Ideas That Prove SEGA Hates Your Money

Added: 16.10.2014 0:12 | 4 views | 0 comments

Twinfinite writes: The SEGA that exists today is a very different company than the one that many adults (then or now) grew up with in the 90s. Following the failure of its final home console, the Dreamcast, SEGA eventually quit the console making business and began focusing exclusively on software. Recently, SEGA has seen success as a publisher through its acquisition of talented companies such as Atlus and Creative Assembly. However, there's no reason why their internal divisions couldn't also match that level of success. SEGA has an arsenal of beloved IPs that for some inexplicable reason they choose to ignore. Here are a couple of game ideas that would allow SEGA to print money.
