GamerZines writes: Weve gone a bit Broken Sword crazy this month, giving the latest entry in the point-and-click series the lead cover slot in FirstLook magazine, but were not done yet! Weve filmed the opening 30 minutes of The Serpents Curse to give you a flavour of how the series has evolved in its latest iteration and were pleased to report that Revolution Software has managed to maintain the loveable atmosphere of the previous games while adopting a whole new visual style.

Curse of the Assassin is the eighth installment in the series. The player assumes the role of an upstanding hero who is engaged to the local governors daughter. As the story unfolds, the hero finds himself at rest in a local town where he discovers the suspicious death of his former adventuring partner and lifelong friend. Buy, Try, Or Die? [December 2013]

Added: 03.12.2013 1:35 | 2 views | 0 comments

Ah, December. The month for hot chocolate and curling up in blankets. The month when video game releases are almost non-existent (look at how short the list below is). The month when I cry about how much I spent on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The month when I continue to cry about how much I'll spend on Christmas presents. The month when I play as many games as I can that I missed during the year for the purpose of Game of the Year Awards (just finished The Last of Us yesterday).
Dec 3 - Tiny Brains (PS4)
Dec 6 - Gran Turismo 6 (PS3)
Dec 10 - Sorcery Saga: Curse of the Great Curry God (Vita)
Dec 10 - Unity of Command - Black Turn DLC (PC)
So apart from what you're going to "buy, try, or die," what did you get in Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals? And what video games do you hope your friends and family gift you for the holidays?

Still, that's not to say that Siren won't return on PlayStation 4. Sony has released three Siren titles across PS2 and PS3, with the last game, Siren: Blood Curse appearing on PS3 in 2008.
