"One of the more successful interactive movies of recent years, but thats really not saying much given the lack of gameplay and horror thrills."

Gamesradar:
Teen horror has a formula. A very simple formula of gory violence, schlocky dialogue, girls in lip gloss, boys in letterman jackets and plenty of grisly death. Scream clearly explained the rules, Tucker and Dale Vs Evil subverted them and, impeccably, The Cabin In The Woods broke them all. Until Dawn doesnt want to break the rules in game form. It doesnt have to. It knows they exist and its quite happy to introduce you to eight teenagers, pop them into the land of no cell phone reception up a snowy mountain and let you take it from there. And for the most part, thats a bloody good thing. Pun totally intended.

"I wouldnt spend £45 on Until Dawn. And thats a major issue for this PS4 exclusive. It feels too short, lacks replayability and any alternative modes for such a premium fee. If this was priced like a Telltale games season pass, it would be perfect and totally justified; something Id wholeheartedly recommend." - Sam Loveridge (Reviewer)

Save the Cheerleader, Save the World.
With a shallow bench of high-quality exclusives for the PS4, Until Dawn is an impressive entry into the horror genre. The pacing of the narrative is spot on, and even if you wander around an area before heading to a main objective, the story never feels like it drags. Every chapter is comprised of scenarios with a subplot that, although admittedly demented, will have you on your toes the entire time. The emotions come through, the fear comes through, and every character is drawn out to the point that you'll feel engrossed in the moment... even if you donÄ‚Ë€â„Ët want to be.
