While the initial episode of Telltales Game of Thrones series seemed to be on somewhat unsure footing, it had become exceedingly clear by the end of Episode 2 that they had developed a level of confidence with the series. At the end of The Sword in the Darkness, its clear that Telltale has found its niche with this series, and in doing so, has created what is the strongest episode of the series to date.

AA: "While Telltale Games second episode of Game of Thrones lingers a bit when it comes to story development, that misstep is more or less corrected by not only the reveal of strong characters such as Asher and Rodrik, but also through Miras continuous plays between characters over at Kings Landing. Episode 3, The Sword in the Darkness, further improves upon this, while driving forward the overall plot and promising exciting developments on the horizon. Even so, I simply couldnt oversee the fact that most of my decisions in this episode barely had any consequences on their respective outcomes."

Though House Forresters position and influenced has been severely diminished thanks to the Whitehills and Boltons, they continue trying to reclaim what is theirs. Game of Thrones: Episode Three A Sword in the Darkness sees the Forresters making further moves to wrest power from the Whitehills but its a road fraught with danger; both from enemies outside and inside their halls.
