The Deadly Tower of Monsters Trailer

Added: 12.06.2015 11:02 | 8 views | 0 comments

Developed entirely in color, DTOM is an action-based adventure oozing with B-movie charm. Gaze at the incredible realism Monsterama vision provides for all the Nuclear Ants, Lizard Men, and the countless other enemies you'll face. The single-player adventure has another fun mechanic - the player's progress up the tower stays visible the entire time the player climbs far into the reaches of outer space. Not to mention all the enemies that can climb/fly up the tower to attack you from below; and hey - sometimes if you get stuck, the only way up is to fall down - freefall that is. Embrace gravity and freefall to find new paths, explore hidden areas, or if you just really miss terra firma (yes, you can fall allllllllllllllllll the way down).

CGM Interview: Swery 65 is Interested in VR

Added: 12.06.2015 10:16 | 47 views | 0 comments

CGM Writes: In videogames, there are only a handful of people that stand out from the rest of the industry. You have historical figures like Nolan Bushnell, the founder of Atari, or gaming luminaries, like Shigeru Miyamoto who almost singlehandedly carried Nintendo on hisand Mariosshoulders. Then you have the dark horses, the mavericks who do something so odd, so distinctive that everyone sits up and takes notice simply because its something no one has ever seen before. Hidetaka Suehiro, better known by his nickname, Swery65, is one of those people. Although hes been in the industry for years, it was only in 2010, with Deadly Premonition that he rose to prominence as one of gamings most surreal creators. Since then, hes also made D4, which has migrated from an Xbox One exclusive to PCs as well, and it carries the same bizarre distinctiveness of his previous work. We managed to track down the eccentric Japanese developer and get some of this thoughts on the industry, and hi...

Review: D4: Dark Dreams Dont Die (DarkZero)

Added: 09.06.2015 11:16 | 11 views | 0 comments

Dominic Sheard: "When you are following up Deadly Premonition, a game that was so beautifully weird and tantalisingly strange, offering without a doubt one of the most unique, yet mechanically awkward, gaming experiences in recent memories, then quite the benchmark was set out for Hidetaka Suehiro, also known as SWERY, when he announced his next game, D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die, from studio Access Games. The title was originally exclusive to the Xbox One and launched September 2014, but tweets from SWERY showed signs that D4 wasn't doing great on the platform. Fast-forward to the present day and D4 has just released on Steam (most likely won't come to another console due to the contract with Microsoft), thanks to help from Playism, a small company that helps independent Japanese developers get their work out into the Western world. With the quality of ports from Japanese developers ranging from amazing to sub-par, just how good is D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die on PC?"
