Dealspwn writes: I recently took advantage of Games extensive The Last of Us lock-in event tour (dates still available) to get some hands-on experience with the game. Naturally, I left wanting the game more than ever. Naughty Dogss post-apocalypse survival adventure looks set to offer so much more than the never-ending line of zombie games and shooters out there. So, I felt it deserved the Sunday Seven treatment this week. Here are seven reasons you should really want to get your hands on The Last of Us.

Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen Review | Ready-Up

Ready-Up writes: 'As unlikely as it was for Japan to produce two sleeper hit RPGs within a year of one another, there was much to compare Dragons Dogma to Dark Souls. They are both uncharacteristically influenced by Western dark fantasy and action oriented RPGs, both eschewed the genre in interesting ways, both featured unusual asynchronous online elements, and both boasted slightly obscure systems that did little to cool the enthusiasm of a fiercely loyal community. Now Dragons Dogma follows Dark Souls lead; rewarding the tenacity of its fans by releasing a substantial challenge in the form of a new dungeon that is not for the faint of heart (or the low of level).'

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen Review | GamesAbyss

GamesAbyss writes: 'Dragons Dogma is a title that stands out for many reasons; some of them good and some of them not so much. The majority of the latter is usually in relation to Capcoms business practices as opposed to the quality of the game. Weve all heard the complaints that Dark Arisen should have been a DLC and how even discounting the price of a full game release doesnt make up for the fact that Capcom is trying to squeeze as much money out of gamers as they can. Normally I would agree but the fact of the matter is this; the new content itself is longer, more challenging, and more satisfying than many major full release games this generation. Sure it sucks for those of us who already owned the original game, as I myself do, but being forced to shell out more than your typical DLC price does not embitter the quality of the content.'

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, Capcom's $40 re-release of the original Dragon's Dogma, which comes with the Dark Arisen expansion content, is obviously bang for the buck. But is it any good?
