IGN- Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen Review

Added: 01.05.2013 1:17 | 20 views | 0 comments

IGN:Its difficult to argue that Dragons Dogma is a universally great game. Its great at combat and exploration, but the quests are often boring, the fiction is turgid and its technical problems are unignorable. But its a very good game, and its so interesting that Im inclined to forgive most of its problems because it succeeds in such important ways. The Dark Arisen expansion content pushes the boundaries of fairness towards the end and saves its best rewards for the most dedicated, but in terms of design and ambience its an encouraging indication of what this talented team might come up with next. At this budget price, Dragons Dogma is absolutely worth a try.

Destructoid- Review: Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen

Added: 30.04.2013 15:19 | 18 views | 0 comments

DToid:can't wholly recommend Dark Arisen to anyone but the most hardcore of Dragon's Dogma fans, if you haven't touched the franchise yet, this is a perfect opportunity to do so. Despite the issues, the series is an intriguing prospect that does many things right, and shouldn't be missed by action or RPG fans alike. While Capcom could have done a whole lot more with this expansion, the fact of the matter is the solid game underneath is still faithfully preserved.

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen Review - STN

Added: 30.04.2013 11:19 | 19 views | 0 comments

STN: Returning to the world of Dragons Dogma was like putting on your old favourite pair of slippers that had lots of holes in them and then finding someone had fixed them for you: the improvements made on the original game really made this return experience all the more fun, making this a much better game for it and if these improvements are anything to go by, I can't wait for Dragons Dogma 2.

Corsual's EXP writes: "I love it when a game catches you off-guard. When you know nothing about it at all, and beginning it for the first time is an entirely new, fresh adventure. I love it even more when that game is what's quickly becoming my personal choice for game of the year. Dragon's Dogma - Dark Arisen, a re-release of the original 2012 game featuring all DLC and all-new content at half the normal retail price has completely taken my breath away. I can't stop playing it. Take a peek at the opening of the game below:
