| Frozen Synapse Prime Review | GES

"Double 11 remade Frozen Synapse, originally from Mode 7, for the PS Vita. Frozen Synapse Prime takes all that was great with the first one and brings it on to the PS Vita for even better enjoyment.
Frozen Synapse prime is a Turn-based Tactics game, where you use your great, or not so great, tactical mind to guide a team through various and dangerous missions. It is an asynchronous, turn-based strategy game meaning that turns will play off simultaneously. Its set within a dystopian future, where you assume the role of a tactician to a resistance group attempting to prevent an evil corporation from taking over a city. The Story is well thought out but in some ways delivers a bit weak, I found it to be interesting but later on I just rather wanted to get on with the action."

| ZTGD | Costume Quest 2 Review
Added: 16.10.2014 14:16 | 6 views | 0 comments
Drew Leachman writes: I loved the first Costume Quest. Its simplistic nature and Double Fine humor really added something to the turn-based RPG. Sure, it wasnt the best looking game, and sure after a while the combat got a little old, but the witty dialog and different costumes made it a rather fun and entertaining experience. So, naturally, I was really excited to hear a return to the series with a proper sequel. For the most part, Costume Quest 2 holds up while still being bigger, and at the same time mixes in some new mechanics that bring the game down a bit.

Joystiq writes:
A pterodactyl, a wizard and Thomas Jefferson walk into a bar that exclusively serves candy. No, this isn't the set-up for an old-school joke; this is Costume Quest 2 from Double Fine, and it is a bag bursting at the seams with strange and charming humor. Unfortunately, it's also a shallow bag, lacking variety and depth.
