Getting Lost in the Retro Adventure Charlotte's Dream

Added: 23.06.2015 0:15 | 9 views | 0 comments

Serena Nelson writes: "In Charlotte's Dream you play as a young girl named Charlotte. She barely manages to survive a horrible car accident but her brother isn't so lucky. She's haunted by intense pangs of guilt and she finds herself trapped in her own nightmares as she struggles to deal with her loss. As she traverses this surreal landscape she has to face her fears and struggle to find acceptance and, hopefully, peace. While Charlotte's Dream takes a lot of inspiration from the classics of the 1990s it also tries to break from the mold. Robert Guiscard plans on incorporating a...crafting system of sorts as well as a "leveling system" utilizing some RPG elements. Whether this is similar to what Quest for Glory did or not remains to be seen."

Final Fantasy VII Remake: The Dream Voice Cast

Added: 20.06.2015 19:16 | 4 views | 0 comments

An improbable yet intriguing ensemble. A.J. says: "It's almost inevitable that the newly announced remake of Final Fantasy VII will include voice actors. Considering no one has any idea who they'll be, I thought I would share who I think would be perfect for the job. Of course, I'm being creative and pretending like the game will be completely recast even though the cast of Advent Children was superb. It's all in good fun. Anyway, my dream team may be unrealistic, but I'm looking forward to Square Enix doing a great job of giving new life to their characters in this long-awaited remake."

Sword Coast Legends - The Surprise Stand-out Player Creation Experience of E3 | VGChartz Preview

Added: 17.06.2015 11:16 | 8 views | 0 comments

VGChartz's Jake Weston: "While other player-creation focused tools at this year's E3 such as Super Mario Maker, Doom's level editor, and Media Molecule's Dream have left me feeling ambivalent, Sword Coast Legends Dungeon Master mode has me filled with imagination of what might be possible once it's put in creative players' hands. Whether n-Space will be able to reach their ambition remains to be seen, but what I saw makes me excited to see what will happen once Sword Coast Legends launches September 8, 2015, for PC, Mac, Linux, and sometime Q4 2015 for PS4 and Xbox One."

Kingdom Hearts III Shows Sora at His Most Powerful

Added: 17.06.2015 2:44 | 12 views | 0 comments

"Our goal is, because you are able to obtain world-specific Keyblades after you beat certain worlds, the transformations of each Keyblade will be related to the world you visit," Yasue explained. "We've made each transformation unique to the world.”

Another thing you can expect from Kingdom Hearts III is giant, Shadow of the Colossus-style boss battles. There will be fights against smaller enemies, but some of KHIII's bosses will be gargantuan, allowing Sora greater freedom of movement and room to experiment with attacks--including the new theme-park-ride summon attacks.

"When creating a Kingdom Hearts game, we start with a gameplay system that I think would be a fun element," Nomura said of designing gameplay, "and once we have an idea of what kind of gameplay or system we want in place, we flesh out the story around it, surrounding the basic concept of what kind of fun we’re going to have with this new instalment."

He added: "The gameplay mechanic is the skeleton, the root of building the game. As an example of how some concepts come about… the game system in Dream Drop Distance where you switch between Sora and Riku and interchange, that concept fell into place first and then I built the story.”

Kingdom Hearts III still doesn't have a release date. For more details, check out our trailer breakdown below.
