For a game that plays with so many clichés, it never ceases to amaze me how each episode still manages to surprise and draw me in further. Dark Room pulls at your heartstrings from the very beginning and doesnt hesitate to kick you when your guard is down. Its a feeling Ive only ever experienced while playing The Walking Dead, and now I sit here anxiously writing as I begin the wait for the finale. Things that used to bother me about earlier episodes dont anymore, and its rewarding to see solid continuity across the series. Its still quirky at its core, but Ive crossed all barriers of disbelief to immerse myself. Theres no stoping now!"

NZG: Im kind of lost for words after Life is Stranges fourth episode, Dark Room. When youre trying to write a review of something, this isnt exactly an enviable position. Part of this speechlessness has to do with some truly shocking, unexpected developments in the plot that eclipse even the ending of the previous episode.
