Solid Snake was always supposed to be the hero of the Metal Gear franchise. He was inspired by Snake Plissken from Escape From New York. His image on the cover of the NES version of Metal Gear is almost identical to Kyle Reese in The Terminator. He's saved the day countless times from the grips of nuclear holocaust. Solid Snake is, in many ways, the ultimate video game representation of the archetypal Hollywood hero; unwavering in the face of overwhelming odds, unflinching at the sight of threats both nuclear and supernatural. Even when Raiden takes center stage in MGS2, Solid Snake is still very much the hero of that game, even as he guides Raiden to complete his objectives.

As the layers of the tale continue to peel away, hopefully getting closer to the actual truth of the matter, Fiona and Rhys continue to recant their tale of a bungled vault key deal to the masked man thats held them captive, in another fine episode of Telltales best adventure since that First Season of The Walking Dead."

Perhaps when it comes to licenses, Borderlands isnt the most beloved, especially when compared to the likes of The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones. Shame really, because Tales continues the series run of good, if unspectacular episodes.

DD: Tales From The Borderlands: Episode 4: Escape Plan Bravo packs a great deal of humour into a single episode, but also manages several touching moments with characters while keeping the plot rolling. The best episode in what is shaping up to be the most balanced Telltale Games effort yet delivers yet again.
