Escape Dead Island Review (PS3/Xbox 360/PC) - TSA

Added: 03.12.2014 17:11 | 7 views | 0 comments

TSA: "Dead Island is a series that doesnt take itself too seriously. In the original games you could run around a tropical island with makeshift weapons to send zombies back to death. You could even invite friends along for the ride, to create some fond memories in paradise while cracking skulls. And now have Escape Dead Island, which allows you to do absolutely none of those things while telling the story of rich kid Cliff Calo, son of a media mogul who wants to get his fathers attention by by exposing what happened in Banoi and the surrounding areas."

Escape Dead Island Review - Get Me Out Of Here | Awesome Games

Added: 03.12.2014 11:12 | 23 views | 0 comments

Vince from Awesome Games writes: 'As far as survival horror zombie games go, it takes a lot to get me excited these days. Weve seen it done a hundred times a hundred different ways, so when a studio like Fatshark is handed the reins to expand the franchise, it had better have something up their sleeve if its going to attract my attention for longer than it takes the kettle to boil. What I found with Escape Dead Island was not only a rehash of borrowed concepts done poorly, but it castrated all the fun, visceral excess and multiplayer mayhem that made Dead Island and its follow up Riptide so much fun to play.'

Escape Dead Island Review | GodisaGeek

Mike Stubbs: "Is Escape Dead Island the worse game I have ever played? Probably not, because despite its faults it does actually work sometimes and, dare I say it, can actually be slightly enjoyable on the rare occasions that all the systems gel together. But sadly, most of the time it isnt enjoyable, the combat is boring and often unfair, the enemies are shockingly bad, stealth (although a nice idea) doesnt really work and the story is complete garbage. I would struggle to recommend this to anybody, even hardcore Dead Island fans."

Escape Dead Island Review (Invision Game Community)

Added: 02.12.2014 8:16 | 21 views | 0 comments

Whether or not you like Dead Island or Riptide gameplay will matter not with Escape Dead Island. This is a whole different genre, simply within the same universe. 6 months after the events of Dead Island, you play as Cliff Calo; son of an enterprising business man who he is not on good terms with.
