Gametempus: As the last of the video game mascots and EB community members reach the end of an extravagant parade, the sun sets on the EB Games Expo for another year. This years convention has provided plenty of highlights, from the chance to go hands on with upcoming titles to entertaining panels and celebrity appearances. Having attended all three days of the expo, Ill be taking you through my travels throughout the weekend. There were many highlights, some disappointments, and a few surprises.

Speaking of competitive, Popzara editors Cory Galliher, and Josh Boykin man the microphones for another wacky roundtable dedicated to Nintendos latest blockbuster brawler. They even managed to nudge the infamously reclusive Herman Exum from his cave to join the fun. But if any game could perform this miracle, its Super Smash Bros. These remix releases have been the source of a great amount of affectionate response from fans but simultaneously has received a lot of criticism with some fans considering it to be stalling tactics from Square Enix. At Bandai Namcos EB Expo 2014 booth, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix was on show and we were lucky enough to get some hands on times with this all too familiar title. The game plays the same as it once did on the PlayStation 2, with the exception of some tighter mechanics and the obvious visual updates."

You see, ever since Mortal Kombat X was revealed, we MK fanatics have been scrounging around for any information on the tightly-sealed story of the tenth entry in the iconic fighting franchise, and our best shot at gleaning any details of said story is through the introductory dialogue between fighters as they square up and ready to come to blows. Unfortunately, the conditions particularly the noise level of the EB Games Expo 2014, prevented me from making out any full lines of dialogue. Although I did catch tidbits and can give you all some paraphrased quotes at the end of this article."

Luke Halliday writes: "Nintendos booth was bouncing at EB Expo 2014, getting by the far the biggest turn out of all the Big 3, with countless great titles on display including the hotly anticipated Super Smash Bros. for 3DS and Wii U. Perhaps not as highly anticipated but still of great interest was the upcoming Amiibo figures which were present at the booth and if I do say so myself looking pretty damn fine. On show was a large number of Amiibo based upon the cast of Super Smash Bros. for 3DS and Wii U. Characters such as Villager, Donkey Kong and even fan favourite Wii Fit Trainer were present. The figures were all highly detailed with even the minutest of intricacies were captured in these brilliantly rendered replicas."
