If you like playing medieval-themed video games, you might not be just some harmless nerd you might be a nerd who is also kind of a white supremacist. At least thats the opinion of Victoria Cooper, a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Leeds in England, who presented a paper titled Playing Politics: Exploring Nationalism and Conservatism in Fantasy Video Games at the International Medieval Congress earlier this month.

SuperPhillip Central: Mercenaries Saga 2: Order of the Silver Eagle (3DS eShop) Review

SPC writes, "One of my favorite games of all time is Final Fantasy Tactics for the original PlayStation. I also enjoyed the two Nintendo FFT games on the Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS, albeit to a much lesser extent. The tactical RPG is one that requires patience, persistence, and a high level of strategy to complete. Those are all things a lot of fans of the genre possess, and they also are needed to complete CIRCLE Entertainment and Ride On's Mercenaries Saga 2: Order of the Silver Eagle. Originally a Japan-exclusive mobile game, the title appears on the North American Nintendo 3DS eShop, ready to be downloaded by anyone who wants an inexpensive yet priceless tactical RPG for their 3DS."

TheArabGamer writes: "I have to be honest: Im not a big fan of MMOs. That is until I played Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. You see when it comes to singleplayer RPGs theres always this sense or feeling that you are IN the story. Yes, believe it or not, the cutscenes, the style and presentation all play an important role in telling a good story. For me at least. Which is why Ive usually been swayed away by previous MMOs for being text heavy with their go there and do this quests. Dont get me wrong, FF 14 is filled with those quests and the same carries over to its latest expansion pack, Heavensward. However, theres no denying that Final Fantasy 14 and its new expansion pack makes the series stand on its own as a really good RPG whether if youre playing alone or with someone else."
