Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag much of the same, but with boats. Review from @IM_PLAYIN

Added: 12.12.2013 16:20 | 4 views | 0 comments

IM PLAYIN - "There has been a lot said about the new Assassins Creed (to be honest, I use the word new very loosely), and most of it has been rather positive. It has been praised for its gripping story, smooth graphics and buckles so swashed that you would assume Black Beard himself had co-wrote the plot. Yet, for all of its piratey profiteering, winding and weaving story, brutal swordplay and cast of thrilling characters, its still just Assassins Creed. Sure, a much more polished version, one with slightly better gameplay and a little more to offer than its predecessors, but Assassins Creed nonetheless."

ZTGD | Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag (PS4) Review

Added: 12.12.2013 14:16 | 6 views | 0 comments

Ken McKown writes: It is amazing to consider that the Assassins Creed series is now in its sixth year. The series that spawned in this latest console generation is now being funneled over to the current crop of consoles. In a sense, this solves some of my biggest issues with the series, namely ambition that could not materialize due to hardware constraints. Now that these new consoles are out, perhaps the series will once again capture that spark that made it one of the best new IPs to spawn out of this era. If Black Flag is any indication of the series direction, count me in.

Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag Templar Hunt / Assassination Mission Guide

Added: 11.12.2013 21:20 | 4 views | 0 comments

GameDynamo - "Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag is the first game in the series to offer a new type of side quest called Templar Hunts. There are four of these special assassination missions total, and each one will get you some rewards. In addition to a small amount of Reales, each successful hunt grants you a piece to unlock the Templar Armor, which gives Edward the ability to take 25% less damage. To get started, youll need to have acquired the Great Inagua hideout. Once you have this, you can find the starting point for each hunt to get the information needed to complete these side missions. Ready to hunt some Templars? Use our guide if you need help."

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag Soundtrack Review

Ubisoft Music actually released three different soundtracks for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag—the original score by Brian Tyler, the Sea Shanty soundtrack, and a combination of the two. I purchased the combo, because all I could see was MOAR TRACKS. I should have done my research first. If I had, I would have saved about $9 and only purchased Brian Tyler's original score. These two compilations of music could not be more different.

Watch Dogs and Assassin's Creed Connection Proved at Last?

Added: 11.12.2013 19:17 | 3 views | 0 comments

Dealspwn writes: Not long after Ubisoft announced Watch Dogs, rumours and conspiracy theories began to float around that the game was going to be linked to the Assassin's Creed series, possibly even as a full entry to the series' canon. While playing Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag earlier today, I stumbled across some evidence in the Abstergo offices (Ok, less 'stumbled' and more 'hacked') that directly links the two game brands together.
