Assassins Creed: Rogue got released on the same day as Assassins Creed: Unity and it was obvious right from the start that it was going to play second fiddle to Unity. Gameplay mechanics is exactly as same as AC:Black Flag with a few minor changes and additions, it can be said that developers Ubisoft simply copy-pasted Black Flags formula. Despite this problem Shay Cormac is one of the best characters the series has seen, and his journey throughout Rogue was excellent.
