Assassin's Creed: Rising Phoenix "Coming Soon" According To Assassin's Creed: Rogue Easter Egg

Added: 08.11.2014 9:12 | 5 views | 0 comments

PS Vita Blog: "An Assassins Creed: Rogue walkthrough reveals a neat easter egg in Ubisofts upcoming PC/PS3/360 game. A poster in Abstergo clearly reads Assassins Creed: Rising Phoenix Coming Soon. Assassins Creed: Rising Pheonix has a history. Allegedly, an image leaked in early 2013 from Ubisofts Digital Arts division that contained the Rising Phoenix name and some concept art. That same year a Spanish retailer listed Rising Phoenix for an October release on PS Vita. Giving some validity to the previous claims, the same Rising Pheonix logo was then seen on a wall in Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag. The only Assassins Creed game on PS Vita, Assassins Creed III: Liberation, was developed by Ubisoft Sofia. The Bulgarian studio assisted in the development of Black Flag and are the lead studio on Assassins Creed: Rogue."

Metrocide: Early Access Preview | Power Up Gaming

Added: 08.11.2014 7:11 | 17 views | 0 comments

Austin Flynn writes: "Metrocide, a noir top-down hit-man simulator created by indie developer Flat Earth Games, is aesthetically reminiscent of the Grand Theft Auto of gamings past. Players follow T.J. Trench (alliteration makes everything better) as he takes out unsuspecting contracts in order to obtain enough cash to escape the slummy city the game is set in. Gang members, vigilantes and everyday citizens are all up for target. However, although you have the goods to take down whatever comes your way, everyone you encounter can just as easily snuff you out. The only catch is once youre dead youre dead no checkpoints, you don't retain your money and your weapon will always revert back to the seemingly useless starter pistol you get stuck with. So you better be good."

Alien Isolation Interview: How Composers Evolved A Legacy

Added: 03.11.2014 8:12 | 8 views | 0 comments

Joe Henson and Alexis Smith, better known in the music circles as The Flight, were in charge of bringing the soundtrack to life for one of the most critically recognized and intense first-person thrillers that dropped this year. The name of the game? Alien: Isolation. The duo has worked around the TV, film and game scene, with notable entries to their credit including The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, Moulin Rouge, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and LittleBigPlanet 3 to name a few. I was given an opportunity to send a few questions to Henson and Smith regarding the process they went through to sculpt the musical sound behind Alien: Isolation, as well as dealing with some of the technology that helped shape the terror and thrills that some gamers are finding so enthralling.

A Halo Fans Love-Letter to Blood Gulch

Added: 30.10.2014 0:11 | 16 views | 0 comments

CCC Says: "Is it possible to become blood-brothers with an inanimate virtual object? Just wondering. The early to mid-2,000s marks a time when the Halo franchise was truly in its prime. While other franchises (such as Battlefield and Call of Duty began their ascension during this era), this was without a doubt a golden age for the Master Chief. With both Halo and Halo 2 available for the PC and Xbox alike, many a night were lost to a Slayer or Capture the Flag lobby. I know from personal experience, as firing up my copy of Halo CE on Windows XP was the moment I remembered just how much I loved playing shooters with my mouse and keyboard!"
