AOTF:
Turtle Rock Studios, creators of one of the best new games of the last-generation in the original Left 4 Dead, has another ambitious project on their hands with Evolve. Call it want you want, but popular consensus on the multiplayer in Left 4 Dead is that it was pretty amazing. Four player controlled zombies with special abilities and a army of angry common infected versus four humans looking for a way to the next safe house Left 4 Dead had some very interesting mechanics to the competitive gameplay. For all that it did right, it always made players work together on both sides of the table. Evolve doesnt quite take Left 4 Dead to the next level, but its a game that focuses on the same kinds of teamwork.

The Monsters are winning, and weve reached the point of no return. Well die here, but only in a blaze of glory. We wont go down without a fight. Complete evacuation is futile, but we must save what we can. This is Evolve, and the battle is our destiny.
As I delve deep into the pits of a dying world, I realise that this is unlike any battle Ive fought in before. Ive battled with my comrades in the past, but these foes arent brain-dead zombies: theyre evolving, mutating monsters, and the world is changing with them. Im wielding a mini-gun, and my trusty flamethrower has my back for that unexpected attack. Next to me is Lazarus, a skilled medic I trust with my life. Hank protects us with his powerful shield, while Maggie knows exactly how to trap the beast best to our advantage...
