Future add-ons for zany online shooter won't cost you a penny.

"Yes DLC will be free," PopCap's senior franchise marketing manager Gary Clay told a fan on Twitter asking about the possibility of free add-on content.

However, whether that extends to microtransactions (which could come in the form of Coin Packs) isn't clear. "We have not announced any plans for microtransactions," Clay told another fan.

The first DLC pack is expected to release later this month.
