The Future Of The Xbox One In Australia

Added: 05.11.2014 13:11 | 5 views | 0 comments

Are we exactly where we want to be today? says Jeremy Hinton, Xbox Lead for Microsoft Australia. No. Have we made massive gains in the last 12 months? I think we have. Despite a reported disparity in pre-orders, the Xbox One was released in late 2013 to much fanfare. The launch was the most successful in Australian history, an achievement that was not repeated in any other territory across the world. Since that day, the PlayStation 4 has been outselling the Xbox One at a reported ratio of two to one. Not the ideal scenario, particularly since the Xbox brand has always been strong here in Australia, but Jeremy Hinton is confident that a strong line-up of exclusive titles and the opening of local Azure Centres here in Australia might help tip the balance over the coming years.

I remember enthusiastically telling fellow children at school about the time Bazza Burton blew a zombies head clean off with his .357 Colt Python. Thus began a love affair with the franchise, lapping up each new title, excited to shoot shambling souls in the face all over again. Sadly, I dropped off around Resident Evil 5, and sought my monster shooting action elsewhere. However, with a promise of doughnuts, I was lured back in, and went to take a look at two upcoming Resident Evil titles The remaster of the much celebrated Gamecube Resident Evil, and Resident Evil: Revelations 2, a sequel to a spin off title that started on the 3DS.

Added: 01.11.2014 3:11 | 3 views | 0 comments

ZD: "For the most part Link walks the path of a loner in a vast majority of the Zelda series, and the few exceptions do little more than serve as a guide with only a few functions that actually effect gameplay such as Fi from Skyward Sword and Midna from Twilight Princess. With that in mind does Link actually need a companion, one who is more directly involved in helping Link progress through the dungeons?"
