Jelly Splash Review (iPhone, iPad)

Added: 28.08.2013 17:00 | 4 views | 0 comments

Gamezebo Rating: 60

In short, Jelly Splash is Wooga's latest take on the unstoppable format that has achieved such an unprecedented amount of success for developer King in recent years. In the game, players will find themselves clearing dozens of colorful, squishy jelly creatures as they make their way through the game's 100 challenging puzzles to save the jelly kingdom from an evil swarm of invading purple mushrooms. But although some people might favor jelly over candy in real life, after popping hundreds of the little squishy guys myself, it becomes apparent that there's very little substance to be found underneath all that tantalizing jelly coating.

Tyrant Unleashed Review | Gamezebo

Gamezebo - "Collectible Card Games come in all shapes and sizes, so I wasnt entirely sure what to expect with Tyrant Unleashed. Even now Im still not entirely sure what to make of it. Its a strange mash-up of a few different methods (particularly an emphasis on individual skills) that works pretty well. For the most part."

Asphalt 8: Airborne Review (iPhone, iPad, Android)

Wow, Asphalt 8: Airborne. Gameloft first introduced the series back in 2004, so that's almost one game per year in the series, making it something of an annual release for the company along the lines of some of Electronic Arts' library.

Smash Bandits Review (iPhone, iPad)

Added: 26.08.2013 22:00 | 4 views | 0 comments

Gamezebo Rating: 90

The cops are hot on my tail as I recklessly zoom over the bridge and into the heart of the city. The skyscrapers come into view as scads of innocent drivers desperately attempt to avoid my path of destruction and fail. As I smash into anything I can at high speeds and the authorities up their efforts, I feel an odd sense of peace and calm. Time slows to a near-standstill as I fly through an upcoming roadblock, and everything around me explodes in a fiery blaze of glory. I am a madman, and I've come to reap utter destruction.

Animal Voyage: Island Adventure Review (iPhone, iPad, Android)

Pocket Gems is a powerhouse free-to-play developer responsible for a large chunk of the free apps that offer extensive gameplay with the occasional premium price tag lodged between sections. The developer has a massive and loyal audience, despite the usual F2P trappings, and the latest addition to their stable is Animal Voyage: Island Adventure. It's an adorable endeavor, obviously aimed at children, that offers hours of entertainment - if you're willing to pay or wait around for it.

Ben 10 Slammers Review (iPhone, iPad)

I hate to start a review by being slightly egotistical, but I'm the parent of two daughters. That means that Ben 10 is something that exists for me peripherally, as a thing some of the boys they know are into. Collectible Card games, well, let's say I'm on firmer ground. And now there's a CCG for Ben 10, Ben 10 Slammers, and here I am reviewing it.
